Major Jeff Nedrow, a 1989 graduate of Selah High School, recently returned from Kunsan Air Force Base in South Korea, where he had been for three months.

Nedrow is a 1993 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs and will be commissioned Lt. Col. in September. His parents are Mark and Kathy Nedrow of Selah.

Nedrow and his squadron returned from Kunsan AFB in South Korea, where he had been for three months. They flew their
F-16s to Hawaii and then to South Carolina refueling in the air a total of 19 times, said his mother, Kathy Nedrow.

Nedrow spent three months in Iraq several years before the Iraq War, where he flew the “No Fly Zone,” Kathy said.

This was his second time to South Korea––the first was for a year in 2003. He spent one year at Boling AFB in Washington, D.C., (2006-2007) going to the Joint Military Intelligence College where he received his second master’s degree.  He received his first master’s degree in 1996 at the University of Colorado at Boulder while in the Air Force.

Besides Shaw AFB, he has been stationed at Vance AFB in Enid, OK, Luke AFB in Phoenix, AZ where he did his Fighter Pilot training, Mountain Home AFB, ID, and Moody AFB in Valdosta, GA.

“Needless to say, we are proud parents,” Kathy said.
