On June 18, the Peppers split a doubleheader with Walla Walla. In the first contest, the Peppers defeated Walla Walla 9-5, but fell 11-7 in the second.

Jake Breshears gave up just five hits in the first game. Stephan Schmidt hit 3-4, including a double, and Allen Noble followed suit a double and 3-4 hitting.

On June 19, Yakima Valley split a doubleheader with Richland. Richland shutout the Peppers 6-0 in the first game, but
Yakima Valley bounced back with a 5-4 victory to force the split.

Pitcher D. J. Smith struck out six batters in the second game.

Noble broke the 4-4 tie in that game with a single that drove in the winning run. Schmidt and Breshears each hit 3-4.
